Chicks with Stix (CwS) is a grass-roots organisation that aims to provide much needed encouragement and opportunities for young girls to help them become involved in skiing – bumps, freeride, slopestyle and big mountain.

Chicks with Stix run FREE shred sessions throughout the Australian Alps with Australia’s most experienced female freestyle coaches.
Girls that join CwS have an opportunity to watch, learn and improve their skills in a safe and non-threatening environment.
CwS provides an outlet for self-expression, social connection, self esteem and fitness…and they have some serious fun at the same time!
Starting with a bunch of passionate skiers, in 2010, the CwS network has since now grown to include snow-boarders as well.
This season, as well as at their home mountain Buller, CwS will be heading to Thredbo, Perisher, Hotham and Baw Baw to interact with chicks all over the Australian Alps.
Over the coming years, CwS hopes to feed into the Olympic and FIS World Cup pathway to help channel girls to the most competitive end of the sport. Either way, Chicks with Stix is looking forward to catching up at the next CwS freeride session at a mountain near you!
